After years of volunteering at special events, we were finally given the green light to offer Reiki within the Jesse Brown VA. Here's the original team that went through orientation.

Medical students experience a lot of stress, and these institutions are beginning to host events catering to their wellbeing. Paula, Dan and I were happy to introduce these future doctors to Reiki.

We continue our work with the Jesse Brown VA Stand Down events in hopes of making bigger inroads for Reiki within this population.

We'll take every opportunity to offer Reiki to future health care professionals. We were warmly welcomed at Northwestern Medical School's National Student Conference on Integrative Medicine.

Phyllis Furumoto, the granddaughter of Madam Takata who brought Reiki to the United States from Japan, is now the Grand Master of the craft. Phyllis hosts her own Internet radio show about all things Reiki, and I was honored to be her guest for this talk show. 

Not our first rodeo, but the first time we got serious about documenting feedback from the vets. The video created from this event went viral and was posted around the globe in Reiki circles, inspiring others.

Huge thanks to the Northpointe group and Kathy and Veronique for helping to introduce Reiki to intellectually and developmentally disabled kids and their caregivers. Video of feedback included.

Young folks are so receptive to the idea that we are made of energy and can help each other using our intention to work with energy. Good times. 

Sex trafficking is such an important topic, but so difficult to explore in depth. Thanks to M&B Magazine for helping me tell this story.

"Who needs it most?" is a question I ask myself when trying to decide how to help others with Reiki. These women are on their way from incarceration into the world. It was an incredible experience for everyone involved.
