Mario Craigen

Mario comes to the board with 25 years of experience in higher education, mostly in the area of diversity and inclusion. Mario also serves the Reiki Brigade as a volunteer and famously said after his first outreach experience at a non-violence event on the south side of Chicago, “I could do this every Saturday!” Mario also mentors community college students in a local mentoring program. Mario’s passion is helping people to reach their full potential.

Cindy Anderson

Cindy was the first to introduce the Reiki Brigade’s founder to Reiki, so she can take a bit of credit for everything that the Reiki Brigade has done to date. She is a solopreneur living her best life in Portland, Oregon where she operates a small shop half the year. She spends the rest of the year traveling the world, healing others with her infectious positivity and inspiring everyone she meets with her creative brilliance. She is the Brigade’s biggest cheerleader and celebrates each success and all movement forward.

Amy Brines

A veteran of the TV and newspaper business, Amy made the career switch to massage therapy in 2010. After receiving her first Reiki session a few years later, her curiosity was sparked. However, it was while reading “Connecting the Dots: From Ad Exec to Energy Practitioner,” by the Reiki Brigade’s founder, that Amy was inspired to finally sign up for her Reiki classes. In those classes, she found her calling to teach Reiki to others and become a Reiki Master Teacher. She now offers Reiki classes through her own private practice in Burr Ridge, IL and as an instructor at a west suburban massage school. She is excited to serve on the board of the Reiki Brigade and support it in its mission in educating underserved communities and organizations about the healing powers of Reiki.
