Reiki for Chicago Fire Depts. Family Day

Every year the Chicago Fire Dept. hosts an event to celebrate families. This event has grown year-over-year and this year was a delight! It included food trucks, a foam pit, bouncy house, face painting, and the Blackhawks mascot, Tommy Hawk! A couple Brigade members tried the Virtual Reality setup that gently teaches kids how to react in case of a fire—genius! As always, we were happy to provide Reiki and received some wonderful feedback.

First time Reiki recipients often express surprise and even shock at the outcomes of their sessions. Reiki is a powerful modality that can promote profound changes in a short period of time, even without touch. If you ever get a chance to try Reiki, do yourself a favor, and suspend your disbelief. Quantum physics is real, and Reiki helps it work for you.
