Reiki for Community Violence Intervention
/CVI (Community Violence Intervention) includes amazing organizations like @institutefornonviolencechicago , @westsidehealthauthority , @act.chicago , @togetherchicago , and @buildchicago. This network of non-punitive, community-led programs aimed at reducing gun violence by identifying and supporting individuals at the highest risk. This model is working.
This event featured a wellness area with massage, acupuncture, and Reiki. For most, it was the first time they were able to experience these services.
