Reiki is a familiar sight now at Chicago’s Office Emergency of Management Communications, and we are beginning to recognize some ‘regulars’ who take advantage of our services given the opportunity.

We’re there during shift change, to ensure we’re accessible to as many first responders as possible. Still, some folks don’t have a break to come take a turn. We’ll be back again in early October for the later shift change, and hope to get a few more newbies in the mix.

Big thanks to fellow Reiki practitioners Mary, Liz, Jana, and Kim for making the trip on a weekday to support these folks who support us in our worst hours.

Thanks to everyone at OEMC for all they do for our city, and thank you for the warm welcome and open minds during our visit. See you again in October!
