Reiki @ the CPD Academy
/We love sharing Reiki with recruits at the Chicago Police Academy. It’s a boot camp-type atmosphere, and if we’re there on a testing day, they can use all the support they can get. Also, it helps inform these future police officers in terms of stress management from Day 1. These days we run into them at CPD’s HQ, or the districts, and they remember us—rather, they remember Reiki—and they sign right up for more.

We 38 takers, including a SWAT instructor who came in to try a Reiki session for the first time.
Now that we’ve been to the Academy several times, a common, post-session question is: “When are you coming back?”
